"Where is that?" This is the usual reaction of most people who have never heard of this ancient Buddhist Kingdom, secluded in the eastern Himalayas. The Druk Yul, or the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" as Bhutanese call their own country, was completely cut off for centuries and it only began to open up to outsiders in the 1970s. Now, the country is trying to measure progress not by the popular idea of the Gross Domestic Product, but by the "Gross National Happiness", a term coined by His Majesty the Fourth King of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, and which has recently received international recognition.

Bhutan's ancient Buddhist culture, breathtaking scenery, imposing architecture, impressive flora and wildlife and its delightful people will capture your heart.

Having visited Bhutan for consecutive times we have the knowledge to prepare unique itineraries to take you through the amazing and tranquil Bhutanese nature with the grazing lands, luscious green valleys, wild flowing rivers, crystal blue lakes, alpine mountains with snowcapped peaks and impressive glaciers.

Our guests may focus on the heritage and traditions of Bhutan by visiting its ancient temples and monasteries or experiencing the spectacular Tshechus, the religious festivals where entire communities come together to witness religious mask dances, receive blessings and socialize.

All our itineraries are designed with special attention and with the support of our Bhutanese partners, we can guarantee bespoke itineraries and high quality services.
